Hello World! Since 1977, when I was seven years old in the USA, Burger King has been my most favorite beef-burger restaurant! However, my choice of food began drastically changing within the past year! ☺️
Wendy’s Hamburgers became my second favorite burger restaurant when I was a teenager, yet I drove through the drive-thru of Burger King restaurant during my junior & senior years of high school life. I was also into Wendy’s Chili con Carne, which I frequently ate with my double-cheese burgers.
Unlike many or other Americans, I never was a fan of McDonald’s fast-food burger restaurants, though I was employed by them in Anchorage & Seattle locations, but only for short durations. I was able to see the ingredients of the frozen beef patties, frozen chicken nuggets and of course, the frozen shoestring fries; all of which convinced me to keep Burger King & Wendy’s as my favorites.
As a possible surprise to some or many, I was always eating my cheeseburgers “naked”, or “plain”, meaning, only beef patty, cheese & bread-bun. Never with ketchup, definitely never with mustard, nor a pickle. My burgers had to be REAL BEEF without any vegetables; that was my burger preference for over 44 years!
Then, approximately six months ago, after chatting with a Filipina vegan in a different area of the Philippines, I decided to begin my vegetarian experiment with Pizza Hut’s Veggie Lover’s Pizza, and I discovered, I really enjoy it. Keep in mind, I’m taking advantage of my blindness & degraded taste buds! ☺️
Within 60 days later, I decided to try the Garden Delight pizza from Yellow Cab Pizza Company… Surprisingly, I almost ate the entire pizza because I was able to enjoy it. In the meantime, my wife began purchasing vegan food products at the local grocery store, but waited some time before I requested it to be cooked.
Then, last week, after I’m already enjoying vegetarian pizzas, I decided to have my wife & her sister cook me vegan sausage… To my surprise, I really enjoyed the taste! A couple of days later, my wife & her sister cooked vegan burgers for me, topped with cheese & bread-bun… And, of course, I enjoyed the taste! ☺️
Then, this morning, while my wife was working-from-home in my room, her sister prepared four vegan burgers with cheese & bread-bun… Surprisingly, I was only able to eat two of them, as my stomach was signalling my brain, that I am “full”. ☺️
Based on my own science experiments with vegetarian & vegan food products, I’m able to take advantage of my blindness & degraded taste buds, allowing me to consume without hesitation. The results of my science experiments are conclusive, meaning, I can adapt & consume vegetarian & vegan food products. In addition, my science experiments also resulted in an improved digestion system, as well. ☺️
Though many individuals claim pizza & vegan food products are “salty”, I am also taking advantage of my health condition of hypotension, or extremely low blood pressure, a diagnosis from medical doctors in the University of Washington Medical Center in July 2005. (Yes, I know that is a run-on sentence!) Unlike others with normal or high blood pressure conditions, salty foods merely benefit me! ☺️
Before finalizing this blog post, I should also mention that I also consume dry-roasted peanuts and drink cold, freshly-brewed, unsweetened green tea with ginger root, all the time. ☺️
Thanks for reading my latest blog post! Have a Great Day!
