Now becoming addicted to Reading Books from @Bookshare on all my devices! ☺️

Hello World! Since I became totally BLIND, I never knew reading books can be so much fun, and addicting, as well! ☺️

Among other BLIND book readers, I am a newcomer to Bookshare as my first year will be expiring in a month from now.

Just yesterday, I discovered how to edit my Amazon Alexa reading list for listening to my books on my Amazon Echo dot smartspeaker. I also discovered collections and how to subscribe to them. — Using my Apple iPhone 12 mini & Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard, I was able to rapidly navigate the Bookshare website! ☺️

Here is how my addiction to book reading is now forming: On my iphone, I have Voice Dream Reader with about 30 unread books. On my Xiaomi Redmi 9T Android smartphone & Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet, I have Legere Reader on both devices, totaling approximately 80 unread books. — I presently have no clue if I will be able to read all of those unread books, but I do have the feeling I’m inside my favorite public library in the USA! ☺️

For Voice Dream Reader on my iPhone and Legere Reader on my Android devices, I have purchased many TTS voices, so I can vary depending on my mood and/or what speaker system I’m listening with, as I have headphones & earbuds to choose from, if I’m not listening from the device’s onboard speakers. ☺️

Surprisingly, I find Bookshare more appealing, compared to Netflix with audio descriptions! ☺️ I think it’s because I began reading (non-fiction) books in Seattle in 1977 when I was only seven years old. ☺️

Thanks for reading my latest blog post! Have a Great Day!
