Preliminary Blog Report: My Hospital Confinement + Amputation

Hello World! This is merely a preliminary blog report of my recent hospital confinement which includes an amputation, intentionally missing details as I’m crafting a medical malpractice claim against the hospital, itself.

Confinement: June 1 to 7, 2022

After experiencing extreme fatigue from my hybrid vegan-vegetarian diets, I made the mistake of opting for a McDonald’s breakfast, hoping for more energy. Instead, I began experiencing light dizziness, feeling like I’m going to faint whenever I stood on my feet. At the same moment, the big toe on my left foot became black, panicking my wife, whom then insisted I go the emergency room. However, because I live on the second floor of my home, a strong man had to carry me from my bed, down the stairs, to my wife’s uncle’s taxi (a Toyota Avanza).

Upon entry into the emergency room, medical doctors had determined I was extremely dehydrated with a blood glucose level of 299. After several hours in the emergency room, I was then confined for diabetes.

My Big Toe on my Left Foot

On April 23, 2022, I decided to opt for a foot scrub of both of my feet, as both were literally-covered with dead, dry skin, which had to be removed with chemical + water. After the foot scrub was completed, both of my feet felt much better. However, shortly after my initial foot scrub, I felt a wide lump on the toenail of the big toe of my left foot. I believed it was extra nail growth, but my wife began blaming my Crocs-brand shoes. — I was consuming my hybrid vegan-vegetarian diets as usual.

On May 14, the day after my 52nd birthday, I had opted for a second foot scrub as the first one felt good. The lump on my toenail was larger, however, my wife accused the Crocs-brand shoes as the culprit.

Pre-diagnosis of toe: “trauma”

Medical doctors kept asking me about the trauma of my big toe after identifying an infection with the toe, itself, as there was a lump at the bottom of toe, identifying trauma or injury to the toe, itself. Again, my wife blamed my Crocs-brand shoes, despite I already knew there was nothing sharp inside the shoes. As the medical doctors had identified a bacterial infection from trauma to the toe, then that was caused by the foot scrub sessions, not the Crocs-brand shoes. The medical doctors never heard of Crocs-brand shoes ever causing trauma to any of the toes.

Additional Diagnosis: LOW HEMOGLOBIN

After a blood extraction from my left arm while in the emergency room, the lab results revealed my hemoglobin is too low, but no mention of anemia. Then, during the orthopedic surgery of my big toe, I had to receive one bag of blood during the transfusion.

June 7, 2022: Homecoming

Because of doctor’s orders to not climb stairs with my left foot, I had to be physically-carried up the stairs in my home to my bed in my bedroom, by four men. Yes, by four men! I never experienced a 4-man lift before, but was trained how to perform such action when I was involved with emergency radio communications in the USA.

Due to expensive medical bills, I’m now asking for monetary donations. Please comment to this blog post with your name + eMail address, or through Twitter as “MarcosFilAm”. I will provide the details on how to send money to my wife, whom is taking care of me. I’m hoping to receive monetary donations so I won’t have to commercialize my blog. Thanks in advance! ☺️
